Volunteers put away the pull-up rig after the last event of the North East Qualifier. (Click on the photo for the full sized version.)
Thanks to everyone who attended and made the event a spectacular success.
To quote Margie:
We didn’t necessarily have any special skills for this sort of thing, yet we somehow managed to pull it off with integrity, excitement, humor and care. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the game-on attitude everyone had, and the willingness to do whatever needed to be done…
I believe that the ultimate success of an event is judged not on how perfectly things run, but on how the inevitable problems are managed.
And mange well we did. For the most part, everything went smoothly. Thanks again for the heart, the sweat, and in some cases, the blood.
Hope our paths cross again soon.

hahcool.
Big thank you to everyone that made this weekend possible, especially the volunteers and judges for making things easy on competitors (not form wise, but in terms of taking care of business). Special thanks to Neal, David, and Jason for organizing.
Also, I love the guy up front, one hand holding the pullup structure, the other hand holding a beer. That’s awesome.
